    Hello!

I would like to tell you about an exciting running event. The 7th annual Relay Iowa will be held June 10-12, 2016. Relay Iowa is a 339-mile, 12-person, 3-day relay run from Sioux City to Dubuque, Iowa. Runners form teams of 12 (or fewer) then run all day and night (with headlamps) for three days until reaching Dubuque. Proceeds go to support Restoring Hope International, an orphanage in South Africa, as well as local charities in Iowa towns along the course.

I have run Relay Iowa 4 times now and am a member of the board of directors, and would like to reach out to as many Illinois runners as I can to encourage others to form a team. Last year I was able to bring 4 teams (out of 28 total) from the Chicago area and I’d like to bring 5 or even 6 this year. I would be happy to add individual runners to my team or help potential captains to set up their own teams.

If you can help me to publicize our event or get the word out to friends, family, and other runners, I would appreciate it. If you or anyone else would like to call or email me for more information, please forward my contact information.
